How to Use

Download and open the HTML file in any modern browser (Chrome, Edge, etc).

Click “Browse Folder” to select your pixel art directory (your files never upload anywhere).

Filter by file type (PNG, GIF, JPG/JPEG) or folders using the sidebar.

Click any thumbnail to view in fullscreen or switch to gallery mode for bigger previews and strip navigation.

Use arrow keys to flip through images.

Click the copy icon to copy the image’s file path.

Hit ESC or click the backdrop to close the fullscreen overlay.
Note: Extremely large collections may take a few seconds to load.
FAQ
Q: Do my images ever upload anywhere?
A: Never! All browsing and viewing happens 100% locally in your browser.
Q: What browsers are supported?
A: Chrome and Edge (and any browser supporting the File System Access API). Firefox and Safari are currently not supported for full folder access.
Q: Does it work offline?
A: Yes! You can run the HTML file locally with no internet connection.
Q: Can I view subfolders?
A: Yes. Pixel Art Viewer scans your selected folder and all its subfolders.
Q: Does it support animated GIFs?
A: Absolutely. Animated GIFs are shown as animations in both the viewer and overlay.

Hmm... I couldn't get it to open anything on Firefox.
Edit: The program seems good though and it does work on other browsers.
I am hoping to have a better update in October where I can improve some of the features. Thanks for the feedback!
its really good, thanks. some nice features would be clicking on an image, I should be able to reveal the folder containing it in the side bar. it would also be nice if it could detect animations and compress that tile, based on the file name. finally, when using gallery mode, i think it would make sense for mouse scroll events to flip through images
i might try to modify it and get these working.
